       Jack Johnson 从小在夏威夷长大，17岁的他已经是冲浪界的天才，以最年轻的年纪扬名于世界级冲浪大赛 (Pipeline Masters)，正当体坛界将他锁定成海滩明日之星之时，他却因命运安排，亲自导演了一部冲浪电影《Thicker Than Water》获得各影展大奖，日后则又因为音乐创作天份，签约于环球唱片。

• 2005年《In Between Dreams》专辑，在没有商业广告的加持下，却在美国发行首周以23万张的惊人销售，空降全美告示牌专辑榜第2名；在乐评、乐迷、以及电台DJ的热情支持下，在发行不到2个月后，在全球默默卖出200万张。
• 2006年 凭借单曲《Sitting, Waiting, Wishing》提名第48届格莱美奖“最佳流行男歌手”。
• 2008年 发行了第四张录音室专辑《Sleep Through The Static》，收录了《All At Once》《Angel》《If I Had Eyes》等14首，该专辑提名第38届朱诺奖“年度国际专辑”奖项。
