堪称德国钢琴演奏法正统继承者的巨匠F.W.施努尔（F.W. Schnurr），素以演绎并录制巴赫、贝多芬、勃拉姆斯等大师的经典作品闻名乐坛。如今，他的经典专辑经重新母带处理，得以重焕新生。此次重制收录多张极具价值的作品专辑：其一为巴赫小品集，收录了其恩师威廉·肯普夫（Wilhelm Kempff）编订的曲目，堪称巴赫键盘作品精髓的浓缩之作；其二是布鲁克纳作品集，其中以《弦乐六重奏》经典旋律为主题创作的《主题与变奏》录音极为罕见，该专辑亦是少数收录此曲的布鲁克纳作品专辑之一；此外，贝多芬专辑则完整收录了作曲家中期的三大奏鸣曲，堪称流传后世的音乐经典。
